Job Description

We are currently staffing for a Sr Accountant

Salary is negetioable for this role!

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
  • Primarily responsible for the commission billing operations
  • Vendor set up and 1099 processing
  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
  • Unclaimed property disbursements
  • Prepare and analyze accounts, journal entries, reconciliations for Investments
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Prepare month end management reports
  • Assist with Statutory quarterly filings
  • Help design and maintain accounting policies, implement automation of accounting processes, and improve internal control design.
  • Audit support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Work experience as an Accountant

Skills, Experiences

  • BS in Accounting from an accredited university or college
  • Flexi General Ledger experience preferred
  • STAT accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with Property and casualty insurance preferred
  • Must be Local to Irving, Texas or 40 miles away
  • Salary is negetioable for this role.
