Job Description

We are looking for a SaaS / B2B marketing expert who will help us grow all aspects of our client's SaaS platform for banks and large financial institutions. You should be ready to take on every marketing initiative for a highly-strategic financial technology (fintech) platform as we grow ARR for the business by 5-10x. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will be charged with implementing the product strategy for the platform, consulting with the sales team to develop campaigns that generate leads and executing across multiple marketing and advertising platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with members of the marketing team and external agencies, execute an account-based marketing strategy (ABM) to acquire subscription customers for the SaaS platform.
  • Create content (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of the platform to our audience of executive-level buyers in the financial services industry.
  • Organize sales events and campaigns including webinars and sponsored digital events to generate leads and increase product awareness.
  • Assist with developing content and messaging for a multi-faceted product with global reach, primarily in North America and APAC.
  • Develop and execute an annual marketing calendar for each important promotional channel, including the blog, third-party events and product awards.
  • Organize CRM data and improve use of prospect data in marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
  • Keep the company up-to-date with market trends and competition, and keep us several steps ahead of the competition at all times.

Skills, Experiences

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • Past experience in the software industry and marketing to B2B audiences; experience marketing a SaaS product is a strong preference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills --- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.
  • A highly analytical approach, used in a wide range of responsibilities, from customer development, to product adoption, to sales processes.
  • Proficiency in Zoho CRM, Wordpress, Ongage, Triblio and Asana is a plus.
  • Highly-motivated, independent mindset is required for this position – you must be a good finisher to get projects into the market.
