Job Description

Seeking a strong leader with a track record of building high performing teams and realizing cost savings through systems optimization, process enhancement, and contract negotiations for a $4B multi-site food manufacturer. 

This strategic position is responsible for managing purchasing budgets, forecasts, vendor selection and management. You will take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock while managing process improvements and packaging changes for new products.

Skills, Experiences

  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management; or equivalent experience
  • APICS, CPPO, CPPB or other advanced certification in procurement preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Background in Project Management or Process Improvement with a track record of generating savings through vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high performing procurement teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and work collaboratively across multiple functions and at all organizational levels.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel at a minimum.
  • Experience with relevant Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP software) required; Microsoft D365 experience preferred.
