Provide enough CE’s to fulfill credential requirements

Offer a coding career ladder with opportunities for coding and leadership within the HIM and Coding Departments
Flexibility to live within 15 approved states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inpatient coding
  • Utilize 3M Computer-Assisted Coding (CAC) software

Skills, Experiences

  • 4 years of inpatient coding experience
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
  • Alternate payment methodology coding experience
  • Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)/ Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
